Indeed it is. I'm finding it a bit hard to write these days. Just can't get there. Usually I must write every day, or else I'm an empty shell. I've just been hanging out in my upstairs office, surrounded by my books and computers. I look out at the mountains and talk to God. And I just hate to leave my home. I only do so because I have to, then all I want is to get back home.
I like it here. Heck- I love it here!
I add a few articles every now and then to my website, and should submit them to magazines. I also have a manuscript I should send to a publisher. Here Comes Duvall & Costner

Robert Duvall is the man! God bless this man! Last evening while changing channels and reading, I ran across a jewel. Where have I been that I haven't seen this movie, Open Range?! Anyway, that's what I do at night, I change channels and read. Alas! Two of my favorites—Robert Duvall and Kevin Costner in a movie— and a western at that.

Could I stand it?

This was too good to be true— but true it was. I did not change the channel once, and I only read during commercials. Open Range is one of the best movies I've seen since I watched Duvall in Lonesome Dove, and Costner in Dances With Wolves. Duvall and Costner, they've got what it takes to be a real actor. They become the character, and still manage to leave a little of themselves in there. Only a mastermind can pull this off.

Oh, Dear Diary—I’m in love again and this time it's with Open Range.

Joyce Wilmer-Martin poem in new book!

A Joyce Wilmer-Martin poem is in the Templar Knight, Book Two. Where have I been?! Busy! Busy, child! My daughter was part of the crowd in the movie, World Of The Worlds. They shot some of the movie in Rockbridge County, Va. on Willard Scott's farm. She was in the crowd that was walking along the road, and running up the hill. Poor kid didn't get home until after 7:00 that evening, and I think she had to be on the site around 4:30 that morning. Anyway, she was happy about it, so I'm happy for her. She's up front on the end in a green coat with a knitted cap on her head, carrying a suitcase.

Excerpt from The Templar Knight, Book One

An Excerpt from The Templar Knight, Book One: A Witch Spell , is posted at the online magazine, GenSpace.com.

Tiana Rogers articles

I've got two of my Tiana Rogers articles up at jangeo.us and hope to get another one up today. I’m just now getting time to write about it. I was in Food Lion talking with some kinsmen when two Confederate Generals walked past me. I’m use to this, since I live near an old Civil War town – Lexington, Virginia. A certain feeling surrounded me as if I had stepped back in time. A feeling I get quite often.

The next day, on my way back from Wal-Mart, I saw a group of Confederate soldiers walking north on HWY. 11. They had back packs and looked as if they were heading to a new campsite. Later, someone told me they were marching to New Market, here in Virginia. I get to see sites like this often, living near this little Civil War town (which is actually a small city now).

It does the heart good to see that people still care about their past, and take the time to actually do something about it. I’ve been to lots of re-enactments, and I admire the people who partake of such pleasures. I just had to write it down before it one day slips my mind.

I’ve lots of articles to write concerning Lexington. All I need is the time—and the health.

A Wonderful Blog Site!

Wow!
